Adrian Wilson founded the band and sings lead. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, singing in the church choir, and he credits his grandfather for his love of the blues. In January 2024, on the band’s first trip to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, they played Club 152 on Beale Street and made the semifinals, and the Kansas City Blues Society sent them back as its band entry in 2025. Their own bio says they can switch from blues to smooth jazz, Motown, R&B, funk, and even country. $5; AJM members free.
